STYLE: Au Natural
Projects: Hotel X, Botanica Arboreal, The Melbourne Residences
Fixtures: Tempered, Arboreal, Besa
Green space is a serene space and whether it's a busy city hotel or the entrance to a multi-residential high rise, more and more lobby designs are planting seeds in natural trends. With an extensive range of "natural" designs to choose from, it's easy to see why lobbies at Hotel X in Toronto, and luxury multi res's Botanica and Melbourne Residences chose YGD to help grow their design gardens.
From our dripping Besa chandelier creating a crystal waterfall to our gorgeous gold arboreal, each piece complements the fauna and foliage perfectly. We work in a range of materials to create the perfect blend of fantasy and flora; be it in a flock of birds, a blooming burst, or a gust of autumnal air.

Everybody loves a good story. And it's often the job of the designer to convey that story using design details. Cue Yellow Goat Design and our ability to custom curate. Working with you, we create pieces that define the history and culture of places. Our full length, lit screens at 131 S Dearborn mimic the waterways of Chicago, welcoming guests and workers to the iconic downtown loop. At Google Chicago, you'll find a tongue in cheek reference not only to the history of the building - a former cold storage facility that took 6 months to defrost - but also to the unforgiving Chicago winters. At Bristol Myer Squibb's office in NJ, we took a literal approach by incorporating their logo into the ceiling plate of the sculpture and adding multi-color shapes to signify the diversity and innovation they celebrate.
